| BRAMLEY OVERCOME DETERMINED STORM |
13th April 2008Bramley Buffaloes first away league game of the season was against Gateshead Storm at their new home of Bullocksteads. Bramley made 3 changes from the team that played so well against Salford in the NRC the previous weeks. Shaun Gilmour, Bradley Asquith and Neil hesketh were unavailable so in came Kevin O'Hare, Steve Gill and Dave Walker. In a re-shuffled side Scott Pendlebury moved to scrum half, Jon Nicholls played stand-off and Danny O"Connor started at loose forward. |

9th April 2008Robbie Paul made his long-awaited Reds' debut and capped a dominent performance by Salford with two tries, but Man-of-the-Match Jordan Turner also chimed in with a brace to help the Reds progress to the last eight. But for a series of tough penalties it could have been many more but Bramley played their part, continually threatening the Reds' line right until the final hooter |
